Getting to the game

We don't sell match tickets. Here's how to get them the right way.

  1. Buy through official channelsTickets are sold through Cricket South Africa's official ticketing partner and the venue box offices. Start at cricket.co.za.
  2. Book the big days earlyThe Boxing Day Test at Centurion and the New Year Test at Newlands sell fastest, especially with England in town.
  3. Skip the resellersTickets bought on resale sites may not be valid at the gate. If the price looks off, it probably is.
  4. Check the ground's rulesEach venue sets its own cooler-box, umbrella and re-entry rules. Read them before you pack.

Our story

The Barmy Army The Safari Army

It started as a concept between mates in the stands

England's travelling fans have the Barmy Army. On the grass banks at Kingsmead in Durban, a group of us decided South Africa needed its own. We painted a zebra-striped banner, printed vests with SA on the back and wore straw hats with DURBAN on the band. The name stuck, and so did the idea.

Cricket is where it started, but it's not all about cricket. Safari Army is for everyone. We make premium, locally made clothing for South Africans who love good company and a great day out. Whether you're in the stands, on the beach or anywhere else, you can show which team you back.

Whether you never miss a Test or have never watched a ball bowled, you're welcome here. We're independent, and we're not affiliated with Cricket South Africa (yet).
